Award-Winning Design Options
Looking for options to satisfy the needs of the most-sophisticated schools? Look no further! Here are just a few of the design options by Walter’s Publishing that are used by award-winning high school yearbooks nationwide.
Binding—whether you want a saddle-stapled, perfect-bound, standard hard cover or smyth sewn hard cover, Walter’s Publishing produces them all in-house. This provides you with the highest quality book and saves you time and money compared to other printers that must outsource their binding.
Leatherette Covers—available in a variety of colors, leatherette covers (which look like leather) provide schools with a traditional look. Typically, leatherette yearbooks use foil stamping, embossing and/or debossing to accentuate their school name and cover design.
Foil Stamping, Embossing and Debossing—like everything else we do, all three of these techniques are done in-house and can be combined together for very striking 3D images.
Lenticular Covers—lenticular printing is used to produce printed images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. Schools can create various frames of animation for a motion effect, show a set of alternate images, or make an image appear 3D for a truly interactive experience.
Spot UV—is a great treatment for schools to use if there are specific areas (or spots) on their cover that they would like to highlight by either deepening the color of the area for a shine or flattening for a matte finish. It’s a great way to add eye-catching emphasis to important areas.
Custom or Stock Die Options—Walter’s Publishing makes it easy for schools to either provide their own custom artwork or choose from a large variety of stock designs to create their own one-of-a-kind look.
Paper Options, Endsheets, Head Bands and Foot Bands—all are available. Just ask about these and other options that help schools create an award-winning yearbook!
